Hi,
tbh I thought it would be easier to sit down and listen to new music. But it was quite a challenge for me last week. I guess my trip to my home town was a reason for that...
Last week in covers:
Noteworthy:
- Roxette : Fan times! New tunes, old tunes. This band has a few memorable ones.
- The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart : Retro flashback. Oh, I remember the time when I was really into their hit song "Simple And Sure" (which was around 2014). I guess there will be a new album soon, if I'm not mistaken.
- Maximilian Hecker : Sleepy time context. Don't take that as an insult, but I like to like to listen to songs from "Mirage Of Bliss" and then fall to sleep.
- Roosevelt : New artist alert. I've never heard of this German artist before. Luckily via radio promotion I got to listen to his new music. I find it quite impressive.
Most played artists:
- Paul Simon : New album alert. So after a few great reviews I gave "Stranger To Stranger" a try. But tbh it did not really convince me.
- Paul Thomas Saunders : Retro times. It makes me a bit sad that I still did not finish the radio snippet for his album "Beautiful Desolation".
- DISCO//OSLO : New album alert. Via promotion I got to know this German band, which reminds me a bit of Captain Planet. Their new album "Tyke" features strong songs.
Most played tracks:

News?
█ Britney Spears, P!nk, Mary J. Blige and a bunch of other artists joined for a (charity) single called "Hands" - that was composed by Justin Tranter. Parts of the revenue will go to the victims of the Orlando attacks.
█ Oh, the German rap act 257ers have a new number one album ("Mikrokosmos").
New in the German charts:
[01] Imany - Don't Be So Shy (Filatov & Karas Remix) : Oh, seems like we have a new summer hit.
[08] Jennifer Lopez - Ain't Your Mama : Ooh, look who's back among the top ten. Congratulations, J-Lo. And tbh this track ain't bad, either.
