Niemand bringt Marten um (#675)

Ahoy,

sorry for being this late.

My last week in covers:

Most played artists:

• BTS : Fan times. (Plus birthday context.)

• Clean Bandit : Workout context. "New Eyes" is still a nice album.

• Lydmor : New album context. "Capacity" has its moments, but it seems to have unused potential.

• Julien Baker : New album context. Tbh I can't really recommend "Little Oblivions".

Most played tracks:

• Aly & AJ - Pretty Places : This bop should get more hype. :)

Noteworthy:

• Normandie : Fan times.
• Jane Weaver : New album context. "Flock" was okay - but I already forgot most of it.

• Nick Cave & Warren Ellis : New album context. A friend recommended "CARNAGE", but I didn't hear anything special.

• Still Corners : "The Last Exit" has a wonderful opening track.

• Masha Qrella : "Woanders" is just great.

Scrobble count: 171.728

News

█ The 63rd Grammy Awards took place last weekend - as usual in Los Angeles. Most wins went to Beyoncé, who has a new record now. Impressive perfomances included those from Dua Lipa and Cardi B.

█ Probably the most famous musician from my hometown made a comeback. "Niemand bringt Marten um" is the first Marteria single in a long time. The video features the artist with Monchi (of Feine Sahne Fischfilet) doing some sort of crazy boat trip.
