Cry About It Later (#681)

Ahoy,

well, I should really think of a way to fix my schedule here. :-/

My last week in covers:

Most played artists:

• Simple Plan : Workout context. I did not like "Get Your Heart On!" very much.

• Greta Van Fleet : New album context. "The Battle At Garden's Gate" provides solid rock tunes with epic vocals.

• Remember Sports : Promotion context. Let me make it short: I did not like "Like A Stone".

• Man On Man : Promotion context. I was listening to their upcoming self-titled album, which was okay. It could have used some more upbeat songs, if you ask me.

Most played tracks:

• Katy Perry, Luísa Sonza & Bruno Martini - Cry About It Later : What a great remix. Tbh I don't know the feature guests. But I'd wish Katy Perry would really produce an electro EP/album. :)

Noteworthy:

• Madonna : Fan times.

• Benny Sings : New album context. I checked out a few tracks from "Music", but even including some feature guests the tunes did not convince me.

• 3OH!3 : New release context. "LIGHTS DOWN LOW / WASTE IT ON ME" was okay, but mostly because of the Steve Aoki cover track.

• Kylie Minogue : Fan times. I was listening to a bunch of remix from her Aphrodite era.

Scrobble count:  172.716

News

█ Jessie Ware released a new single. "Please" continues the music style she had on her album "What's Your Pleasure?". So it seems fitting to schedule a new deluxe version. The music video seems simple, but it gets the job done.

█ Garbage released a new pre-single, which is the title track of their upcoming album. "No Gods No Monsters" sounds like it could have been on one of their first records. The music video could have been better, if you ask me. ^^
