Abracadabra (#879)

Ahoy,

with new releases by The Weeknd and Lady Gaga we have the first highlights of 2025...

Scrobble count:  204.683

Last week in covers:

Most played artists:

• The Weeknd : New album context. "Hurry Up Tomorrow" should please fans very much. But it has only one track with producer Max Martin.
• Central Cee : New album context.
• London Grammar : Fan times. I'm getting to know their music a lot these days.

Most played tracks:

• Lady Gaga - Abracadabra : What a bop! Such a nice comeback of pop music.
• The Weeknd - Give Me Mercy : One of the nicer bops of his latest album.

Noteworthy:

• FKA Twigs : New album context. Apart from a few more poppy tracks I don't really like much about "EUSEXUA".
• Fuffifufzich : New album context. I was beginning to listen to "Feel zu spät", but I haven't come far. (tbc)
• Madonna : Fan times. (And flashback times.)
• OSWALD : New release context. "unendlichkeit" may not be as catchy as "nachts wach", but the sound still slaps.
