Mon Cheri (#692)

Ahoy,

now this entry is very much on time, if you ask me...

My last week in covers:

Most played artists:

• Lee MacDougall : Workout context. I was listening to "For A Few Tales More" and "If Walls Could Talk" (after a long time). The latter sound so much better!

• Doja Cat : New album context. Tbh I do not like "Planet Her" - with just a few decent tracks.

• Tyler, The Creator : New album context. "CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST" is not my cup of tea.

• CHAI : New album context. Tbh I had a hard time listening to "WINK". :-/

Most played tracks:

[nothing to highlight here]

Noteworthy:

• Slut : I was listening to "Talks Of Paradise" once more. I think it is a strong album.

• Morcheeba : New album context. "Blackest Blue" just seemed okay.

• Bachelor, Jay Som & Palehound : New album context. "Doomin' Sun" left me cold.

• RAZZ : Fan times. Their latest release "Might Delete Later" grew on me a bit.

Scrobble count:  175.063

News

█ The Foo Fighters returned with disco vibes. Their new project is called DEE GEES. They cover Bee Gees songs - on an upcoming mini album with the title "Hail Satin". The pre-single "You Should Be Dancing" comes with a pretty basic music video. But the sound seems convincing.

█ SOFI TUKKER did a collabo track with Amadou & Mariam. "Mon Cheri" starts like a typical Sofi Tukker track, but as it continues some new elements get added.
