Verrückt (#794)

Ahoy,

the Summer of '23 has officially begun - and we started with some cold and rainy days...
But what about the music?

Scrobble count:  193.234

Last week in covers:

Most played artists:

• Django Django : New album context. "Off Planet" comes with four "sets"/"discs", that give you quite a variety of sounds - also thanks to feature guests.

• Coi Leray : New album context. "COI" has its moments, but I would not call it convincing.

• Apache 207 : New album context. "Gartenstadt" reminds me more of pop than of hip-hop. But most of the time his tunes seem effective.

• BTS : Fan times.
• Niall Horan : New album context. "The Show" got me surprised a few times, because I did not expect any good songs on it. My favorite track is called "Save My Life".

Most played tracks:

• JEREMIAS - Verrückt : Tbh I have my doubts, when it comes to this band, because I wasn't really feeling their last releases. But here I could become a fan again.

Noteworthy:

• Chicane : New album context. I really enjoyed "Nevertheless", but mostly because of one haunting tune.

• Loïc Nottet : New album context. Tbh I already forgot most about "Addictocrate".

• Kim Petras : New album context. "Feed The Beast" could become her pop breakthrough - the album has got what it takes.

• Joan Jett & The Blackhearts : New release context. The EP "Mindsets" was not easy for me to listen to - and songs seemed to sound the same a bit.

█ Madonna had some health issues, that make any tour dates hard to confirm at this time.
